Delaware TSA students earn 20 Top 10 national honors
Members of the Delaware Technology Student Association recently brought home top honors from the 34th annual National Technology Student Association Conference in Nashville. Eighty students competed in 110 individual and 65 team competitive events, such as: CAD engineering, fashion design, on demand video, promotional graphics, manufacturing prototype, structural engineering, technical sketching and application, flight endurance, video game design, inventions & innovations, leadership strategies and more.

Conference honors and highlights
- Pratyusha Gupta of Caesar Rodney High School led the conference as the president of the National Technology Student Association.
- Delaware TSA was honored for raising nearly $86,403 for the American Cancer Society
- The American Cancer Society recognized Brandywine School District’s Mount Pleasant High School and P.S. duPont Middle School with Purple Awards for raising more than $40,000 each. Brandywine’s Concord High School received the Platinum Award for raising more than $500.
- Steven Vanderloo of Concord TSA was honored with the Dr. Bob Hanson Distinguished Student Award
- Jordan Estock and Richard Alexandre were named Chapter Advisors of the Year
- Caesar Rodney High School and Conrad Schools of Science were awarded Chapter Excellence honors
- Monideepa Chatterjee, Pratyusha Gupta, Jennifer Marshall, Robert Onufrovich, Bridgette Spritz, Matthew Taylor and Steven Vanderloo were inducted into the Technology Honor Society
