Eight Delaware students win the President's Volunteer Service Award
Eight Delaware students have been awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award. The President’s Service Award is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation on behalf of the President of the United States to recognize the best in the American spirit.
All award winners have worked to improve their communities through volunteer service.
Award recipients will be sponsored by Lowe’s to attend the 2012 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, Mo.
Delaware’s winners are all from Delcastle Technical High School in the New Castle County Vo-Tech School District:
