Nineteen Candidates Vie For State "Teacher of the Year" Honors
--“Top” teacher to be announced October 26th--
(Dover, DE.) – Nineteen of Delaware’s best educators representing each school district in the state have been nominated for the distinction of becoming Delaware’s Teacher of the Year for 2011. The 17 women and two men were chosen through a nomination process from more than 8,800 Delaware teachers statewide. The announcement of the 2011 Teacher of the Year will be made on Tuesday, October 26th at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover.
