Gov Markell, Lieutenant Gov Denn, Deputy Secretary Cruce, Superintendent Linn, Principal Getty and Others to Welcome Eisenberg Elementary Students Back to School
Who: Jack Markell, Governor; Matt Denn, Lieutenant Governor; Dan Cruce, Deputy Secretary of Education; Dr. Dorothy Linn, Colonial School District Superintendent; Jacob Getty, Principal, Eisenberg Elementary School; local school board members; teachers; staff members; members of the legislature.
What: Governor Markell, Lieutenant Governor Denn and other invited guests will be on hand at Eisenberg Elementary School in Elsmere to officially kick off the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year. This is an opportunity for the Governor and greeting party to say welcome back to the nearly 126,800 public school students who will soon be attending school in our 19 school districts and 19 charter schools statewide.
When: Wednesday, August 18, 2010, beginning at 7:55 a.m.
