Why: Kerry Purcell is the keynote speaker for this evening's series.Ms. Purcell starred in a documentary that followed two practicing principals for one year as they worked to turn around their failing schools using Focus on Results strategies.
This evening's session is being held to share Ms. Purcell's story about how she turned around a failing school. "Turnaround" modelsare a hot topicin the education field in Delaware this year, so there is a big interestfrom practicing principals/assistant principals/district office staff in learning about Kerry's struggles, successes and methods.
