Proposed National K-12 Standards in English Language Arts and Math
Curriculum specialists within the Department of Education have met with teacher representatives, curriculum specialists and members of the Higher Education community this past Monday to review in detail the initial draft K-12 Common Core Standards in English language arts and Mathematics. On Tuesday, Mike Stetter and the curriculum coordinators from the Department hosted an Elluminate session to brief representatives of the school districts and the charter schools on the details of these standards.
