Governor Markell to Conduct Reality Check Budget Presentations
-- Statewide and introduce newly-appointed Secretary of Education Dr. Lillian Lowery to the Community --
(Dover, DE.) Governor Jack Markell will host six “Reality Check” budget presentations across the state beginning Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Each presentation will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. The only exception will be at Christiana High School where the Governor’s presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m.
All of the budget presentations are open to the public.
With the exception of the Caesar Rodney and Christina High School auditoriums, each venue can accommodate 100-125 people.
During each presentation, Governor Markell will introduce Secretary of Education
Lillian M. Lowery, Ed.D., to the community.
