State Honors Awards Banquet
State Honors Schools, Teachers, Administrators and Parents at Annual School Improvement Awards Banquet
Dover, Del.–May 12, 2005 Delaware public schools, students and parents were honored last night at the annual School Improvement Awards Banquet held at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.
Lieutenant Governor John C. Carney, Jr., Secretary of Education Valerie A. Woodruff, education officials and distinguished guests were on handto recognize schools, teachers, students and parents for superior achievement and for establishing systems and processes that have made a major impact on school improvement.
The awards presented were: Title I Distinguished Schools;Blue Ribbon Schools; State of Delaware Family School Partnership Award; Distinguished Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement awards for students; and parent awards for outstanding service to education.
